Estimator / Outside Sales Representative

South Central Services (SCS)

- SALES AND ESTIMATION for INSULATION, DOORS & WINDOWS

Pay Range: $60,000-$75,000 /annual

South Central Services is a growing building products and insulation company serving homeowners, builders, contractors, and developers throughout the region. We specialize in spray foam insulation, fiberglass insulation, cellulose insulation, new construction windows, replacement windows, and exterior doors.

We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Estimator / Outside Sales Representative to help grow our insulation, window, and door divisions.

Position Overview

This position combines estimating, customer service, and outside sales. You will work directly with homeowners, builders, and contractors to identify project needs, prepare accurate estimates, and help customers select the right products for their projects.

The ideal candidate is self-motivated, organized, and comfortable building relationships with both residential and commercial customers.

Responsibilities

• Meet with homeowners, builders, contractors, and developers regarding insulation, window, and door projects.
• Assist customers with selecting insulation products, new construction windows, replacement windows, and exterior doors.
• Measure projects and gather information needed to prepare accurate estimates.
• Review plans and specifications for new construction projects.
• Prepare and present estimates and proposals.
• Follow up on leads, estimates, and customer inquiries.
• Build and maintain relationships with local builders, contractors, remodelers, and industry professionals.
• Identify new business opportunities and help expand the company’s customer base.
• Maintain organized records of leads, estimates, and project information.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
• Basic construction knowledge preferred.
• Experience in sales, estimating, construction, building materials, windows, doors, insulation, or related industries is a plus.
• The ability to read plans and specifications is beneficial but not required.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Experience with construction take off software
