Staff AccountantLocation: Edwardsburg, MI (100% onsite)About the Company and Opportunity: Our client is a reputable and growing organization with a strong focus on financial integrity and operational excellence. This role offers a variety of accounting responsibilities, supporting both daily operations and financial reporting. Employees enjoy a collaborative team environment with opportunities for professional development and cross-training.Key Responsibilities: Prepare and post journal entries and assist with general ledger maintenance. Reconcile bank and balance sheet accounts on a regular basis. Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes. Support budgeting and forecasting activities. Prepare financial reports and assist with audit preparation. Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial data.Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. 2–4 years of experience in general accounting. Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel. Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and communication skills.Salary: $57,000 – $59,000 depending on experience Note: This role is 100% onsite
