JOB DETAILS Maintenance Technician As a leader in the print industry, John Roberts is looking for qualified and talented individuals to grow our highly recognized, award‑winning team. Available Hours 10am-6pm or 2pm-10pm Job Description The Maintenance Technician supports the safe and efficient operation of our printing and finishing equipment by performing a wide range of maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting tasks. This hands‑on role focuses on general maintenance with an emphasis on electrical work. The ideal candidate has at least two years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment and enjoys problem‑solving in a fast‑paced setting. Essential Duties Perform routine maintenance and repairs on production and facility equipment (mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems). Troubleshoot and resolve minor electrical issues such as faulty wiring, fuses, switches, and sensors. Conduct inspections and preventive maintenance on machines, motors, conveyors, and building systems. Assist with equipment installations, upgrades, and relocations. Maintain lighting, outlets, and other electrical fixtures throughout the facility. Support general facility upkeep, including plumbing, carpentry, and basic HVAC tasks as needed. Ensure tools, work areas, and equipment are clean, organized, and safe. Follow all safety protocols including proper lockout/tagout procedures and PPE use. Maintain accurate logs of completed maintenance and report any unresolved issues. Job Requirements Solid understanding of general maintenance practices and mechanical systems. Basic electrical knowledge (troubleshooting, wiring, and component replacement). Proficient with hand tools, power tools, and basic diagnostic instruments (e.g., multimeter). Strong attention to detail, problem‑solving, and time‑management skills. Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a production environment. Physically able to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift. Qualifications High school diploma or GED required. Minimum of 2 years of general maintenance experience in a manufacturing, printing, or industrial setting. Basic electrical maintenance experience preferred.
