As a Security Officer Zone Patrol in Newark, DE , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Pay Rate: $18.75 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeMon03:00 PM - 11:00 PMTue03:00 PM - 11:00 PMFri03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a manufacturing and industrial location.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, warehouse spaces, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions.
Monitor access points and help to verify entry and exit activity for authorized personnel, visitors, and/or deliveries in accordance with location procedures.
Report maintenance concerns, hazards, and/or policy violations observed during patrols or routine activities to the appropriate site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
