Position Overview

Description of Responsibilities

• Work in close coordination with radiologists and referring physicians to guarantee the provision of high-quality diagnostic images
• Maintain and manage imaging equipment, promptly reporting any technical malfunctions
• Document procedures accurately and maintain cohesive patient records within the electronic health system
• Stay updated on advancements in ultrasound imaging techniques and best practices

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related discipline
• Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred

Certifications Required

• Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred
