Resident Director – Wealth Management Merrill Lynch Wealth Management We are seeking an accomplished Financial Advisor and proven leader to serve as a Resident Director, overseeing a well-established wealth management office consisting of approximately 20 Financial Advisors. This is a producing leadership position designed for an experienced advisor who can lead from the front. The ideal candidate brings a strong personal production record, demonstrated leadership ability, and the credibility to coach and develop successful Financial Advisors while continuing to grow their own practice. Key Responsibilities Provide day-to-day leadership for an office of approximately 20 Financial Advisors Lead by example through continued personal production and business development Coach, mentor, and develop Financial Advisors to help increase productivity and grow client relationships Help recruit, retain, and develop high-performing advisors and teams Promote a collaborative, accountable, and performance-driven office culture Partner with market leadership on office growth and strategic initiatives Support advisors with practice management, business development, and client acquisition strategies Maintain a strong focus on risk management, supervision, and regulatory compliance Serve as a visible leader and resource for Financial Advisors and support staff Required Qualifications $1 million+ in annual production Active FINRA Series 7 Active FINRA Series 9 Active FINRA Series 10 Demonstrated success as a Financial Advisor or wealth management professional Strong leadership, coaching, and relationship-management skills Proven ability to develop business and attract high-net-worth client relationships Ability to balance personal production with leadership and supervisory responsibilities Ideal Candidate The strongest candidate will already be a successful producer who wants to take the next step into a significant leadership position without stepping away from the advisor business. This individual should have the presence and credibility to lead an office of approximately 20 Financial Advisors while maintaining $1M+ in personal production.
