Position OverviewDepartment: Outpatient Physical Therapy
Work Schedule: Day/Evening shifts, 8 hours, Monday to Friday
Facility: Orthopedic Center
Location: Auburn, ME 04210

Position Highlights- Outpatient setting within a hospital environment.
- Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system integrated with all healthcare providers in the region.
- Operating hours are weekdays from 7 AM to 5:30 PM.
- Focus on personalized patient care.
- One-on-one therapy sessions.
- No overlapping appointments or double bookings.
- Schedule managed by therapists.

Key ResponsibilitiesAs a Physical Therapist, you will:
- Conduct patient evaluations and physical therapy assessments.
- Create and implement tailored treatment plans.
- Administer therapeutic interventions aimed at rehabilitation and functional enhancement.
- Track patient progress and modify treatment plans as necessary.
- Educate patients and their families regarding treatment strategies and recovery objectives.
- Accurately document evaluations, treatments, and patient outcomes.
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
- Ensure adherence to regulatory, licensing, and patient safety standards.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- A Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy.
- A valid state Physical Therapy license.
- Current Basic Life Support (BCLS) certification from the American Heart Association upon hire, with maintenance of certification required.
