Role Description The Franchise Owner role at Baby Otter Swim School is a full-time hybrid position based in Fort Lauderdale, FL, with some work-from-home flexibility. Day-to-day responsibilities include overseeing franchise operations, managing scheduling for swim programs, and ensuring consistent delivery of the proprietary safety curriculum. The Franchise Owner will recruit, train, and supervise swim instructors and support staff while maintaining high standards of customer service and safety. This role involves driving local sales and marketing initiatives, building relationships with families and community partners, and monitoring financial performance to achieve growth targets. The Franchise Owner will also coordinate with the corporate team to implement franchising guidelines, participate in ongoing training, and uphold brand standards across all activities. Qualifications Franchising and business management skills to operate, grow, and optimize a franchise location Training and coaching skills to develop swim instructors and staff in program delivery and safety protocols Sales and local marketing skills to attract new families, expand program participation, and drive revenue Recruiting and talent management skills to build, retain, and support a reliable instructional team Customer Service skills to ensure positive experiences, handle inquiries, and resolve concerns professionally Strong organizational and time-management abilities for scheduling, compliance, and operational oversight Comfort working in and around pool environments, with a commitment to safety and risk management Basic financial acumen to manage budgets, review performance metrics, and make data-informed decisions Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to engage families, community partners, and corporate support teams Previous experience in education, sports instruction, hospitality, or small business ownership is beneficial #J-18808-Ljbffr Baby Otter Swim School
