Job Title: PTA Profession: Therapy/Rehabilitation Specialty: Home Health Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours (08:00 - 17:00) Experience: Minimum 1 full year Adult Home Health Experience License: Must have a valid license in hand Certifications: CPR, BLS Must-Have: Recent Home Health experience Description: Home visits for therapy PTA services will be conducted. Periodic office meetings are required. Reliable transportation is essential, along with a current driver's license and agency-required liability insurance. The average number of patients visited each day is 5-6. Contractors will be assigned between 5-10 patients daily, translating to roughly 6-8 points based on the visit type and activities (documentation, travel, etc.). In situations where there are insufficient patients to meet financial needs, the contractor may discuss options with management for floating to a nearby clinic to pick up hours. The types of cases include Start of Care and Follow-Up visits. Must be willing to travel up to 75 miles from the home clinic, with mileage reimbursed at the IRS standard rate. Travelers will be compensated from one patient's home to the next, although the commute to and from the first and last patient is not billable. Local candidates will be accepted. On-call requirements may vary based on job location; this should be discussed during the interview. All documentation must be completed within 24 hours of the patient appointment, as delayed documentation that affects billing or patient care will result in cancellation. Expectations are that the clinician will accept every patient appointment on their schedule, regardless of distance. There are no guaranteed hours with this contract, and clinicians must achieve weekly productivity points of 30, equating to approximately 40 hours per week.
