Best of all, it's a place where everyone is welcome.The Maintenance Technician is a part-time seasonal position. This role performs general preventive maintenance and corrective repair of buildings, industrial systems, equipment, and grounds for Walmart AMP (Rogers) and Walton Arts Center (Fayetteville). Some travel between locations may be required. Working under general supervision, this position utilizes several trade skills such as carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting, roofing, heating and cooling.Principal ResponsibilitiesAssist with troubleshooting and repairs of buildings and installed systems to include plumbing systems, kitchen equipment, roofs, drains, shop and HVAC and ElectricalPerform assigned day-to-day repairs, emergency, and preventive maintenance.Review assigned work orders.Maintain lighting systems throughout the facilities, cleaning fixtures, and replacing bulbs and lamps.Perform carpentry, furniture assembly, and locksmith tasks, as needed.Respond quickly to emergency situations, summoning additional assistance as needed.Perform general labor work as assigned including loading, unloading and moving materials.Run errands to support projects.Maintain security and safety requirements as defined by operations guidelines.Maintain professional working relationships with teammates, fellow staff members from other departments, vendors, patrons, and tenants of leased spaces.Perform related duties as assigned by supervisor.Maintain compliance with all company policies and proceduresMinimum QualificationsThe work environment as well as the intellectual, social, and physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The position regularly requires work in an active concert and event environment, including exposure to loud music, production lighting, pyrotechnics, theatrical effects, large crowds, and moving equipment. Employees may also be exposed to varying weather conditions, including extreme heat, cold, humidity, rain, and other seasonal conditions, as well as potentially hazardous chemicals and cleaning solutions. This position requires a flexible schedule that includes evenings, weekends, holidays, on call availability to support facility operations and emergency response, and extended shifts of up to 12 hours during concerts, festivals, and other special events
