Registered Nurse - Oncology

Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse specialized in Oncology to provide high-quality patient care on a multidisciplinary unit. The RN will manage complex oncology cases, chemotherapy administration, and work collaboratively within a dynamic healthcare team.

Responsibilities:

• Administer chemotherapy, blood products, and other medications according to protocols
• Monitor patient responses and interpret EKG strips to ensure safety and effectiveness of treatments
• Float as needed across Stepdown and Advanced Care units, providing support wherever required
• Complete required documentation using Epic electronic health record system accurately and timely
• Pass an online EKG tele competency assessment before starting the assignment
• Respond to patient needs proactively and escalate concerns to the healthcare team

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license in active status, with any past disciplinary actions disclosed
• Minimum of 1.5 years of nursing experience, with oncology or Stepdown/PCU experience preferred
• Proven experience with EPIC charting system
• Ability to interpret EKG strips and perform BLS & ACLS certifications
• Experience with blood products and chemotherapy administration preferred
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
