Castle Biosciences Inc. is looking to hire a Clinical Research Scientist based in Phoenix, AZ. The start date is on or before June 30, 2026. Expertise in molecular techniques, QA, SOP development, instrument verification, and CLIA/CAP compliance is required. Drive data analysis, workflow optimization, and troubleshooting while partnering cross‑functionally to support clinical research and lab operations. Key responsibilities include lead assay development, validation, and implementation, overseeing sample analysis, QA, regulatory compliance (CLIA/CAP), and supporting lab operations through SOPs, instrument verification, and technical leadership. Requirements Bachelor’s in Life Science, Biology, or Clinical Laboratory Science and 4–7 years research/development experience OR Master’s and 3–5 years experience OR PhD and 1–2 years experience. Demonstrated technical proficiency, scientific creativity, successful collaboration with others, and independent thought. Minimum 4 years laboratory experience in High Complexity testing plus QA training OR 2 years clinical QA experience. Experience with one or more of the following: molecular techniques, digital imaging, multiplex immunolabeling, digital pathology, image analysis or processing, bioinformatics/computational biology. Schedule Monday‑Friday, exempt position, working from our Phoenix, AZ laboratory. Work Authorization All candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
