We are currently seeking applications for a full-time faculty role within the Division of Neonatology in the Department of Pediatrics at our organization, alongside the Bernard & Millie Duker Children's Hospital. We are looking for an exceptional board-certified or board-eligible Neonatologist to become part of a comprehensive clinical program focused on the diagnosis, care, and management of infants.
The Division of Neonatology operates a culturally diverse, family-centered NICU with 60 single/twin rooms. As a New York State-designated Regional Perinatal Center and the primary academic center in the region, we serve as a vital resource for approximately 13,000 deliveries annually. Our offerings include:
A fully-equipped NICU facility
Collaboration with a wide range of Pediatric and Pediatric surgical specialists
A high-risk perinatal unit, along with air and ground transport services covering all of northeastern New York
A fellowship program and a High-Risk Infant Follow-up Program
The Division is comprised of 13 neonatologists and 24 advanced practice providers .
Our NICU admits over 800 infants each year, including around 250 transfers.
The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology facilitates the delivery of 2,200 infants annually, including a significant number of high-risk mothers needing neonatal care for their infants.

Educational responsibilities include teaching:
Fellows and residents from our Pediatric and Med-Peds programs
Students from the medical student and physician assistant programs, as well as regional nurse practitioner programs.
Research and scholarly interests may include areas such as quality science, ventilator management, neuro-NICU and HIE, and the effects of obesity on neonatal outcomes.

The Bernard and Millie Duker Children's Hospital operates within a larger academic health system and is the sole children's hospital serving 80 counties in upstate New York, as well as families in southwestern Vermont and western Massachusetts. The facility includes 130 beds, featuring a 60-bed NICU, a 19-bed PICU, a pediatric emergency department, and a behavioral health unit.
