Business Analyst

Duration: 6 month contract possible conversion to perm Pay Rate: 50-65/hr

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

5+ years of Business Analyst experience, eliciting business requirements and priorities from the business (clinicians), and triaging issues (workflow vs tech) Ability to write epics, features/user stories, and requirements Agile/Scrum experience, utilizing JIRA, ServiceNow, Sharepoint, Excel, Teams & other Microsoft Tools Ability to map out a high level workflow from a stakeholder's concept, and then dig down (ex: business process modeling, process mapping, process flow diagrams, story boards, Visio flowcharts, prototyping) Health insurance domain expertise with disease/case/utilization management

Exposure to CoPilot & AI Willingness to work hybrid Tuesday-Thursday onsite JOB DESCRIPTION Business Analysis (70%) • Consults with department leaders and key colleagues to identify, define and document business needs and objectives, current operational procedures/workflows, problems, input and output requirements, and levels of systems access.

• Provides business requirements definition and documentation and communicates them clearly to stakeholders, facilitators and partners
• Possesses in-depth knowledge of assigned systems/business operation functions including: system functional capabilities, data interfaces to/from other applications, system outputs, database structures, business processes and procedures, and relevant federal and state regulatory requirements.
• Identifies needs and opportunities to improve efficiency, compliance, consistency and best practices using automated systems
• Supports system upgrades. Coordinates communications with IT teams, technical support areas and end-users.
• Regularly reports to management regarding status of systems projects, including resource needs, barriers, and successes
• Uses business requirements to drive the design or review of test cases, process change requests, and manage a project’s scope, acceptance, installation and deployment.
• Identifies gaps between HCE business needs and systems solutions, works with vendors and IT to determine scope of gap resolution, and supports development of workarounds for gaps not feasible to close. Develops and implements change management strategy dependent on the scope and impact of planned system changes.

Systems Administration/Configuration/Hardware & Software Support (30%) • Identifies user hardware/software problem trends & coordinates associated troubleshooting.

• Configures hardware and software systems to meet departments' needs.
• Establishes and maintains Internet and Intranet web sites and web pages; provides technical support in creating content areas; builds on-line forms and connects them to databases; provides technological solutions that can be applied to the ongoing development of a department's on-line presence; provides technical support for automating traditional processes; translates conceptual Web page designs into HTML or script templates.
• Interact with other departments as needed for communication of system enhancements and changes

Compensation: $50/hr to $65/hr. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
