Your contribution will reinforce our reputation as a trusted bank in the community and the country.Objectives of this role:Serve customers by managing documents, information, and financial transactions successfully and in an organized, efficient, and secure mannerBuild awareness of new products and services, and identify customer needs to capitalize on the business referral opportunitiesMeet and exceed bank service standards, greeting and acknowledging each customer warmly, and making them feel welcome while complying with bank procedures and security protocolsWork as a team with other tellers to complete daily tasks, demonstrating respect and professionalism, being prompt, and supporting management with special requests as neededHelp our customers and employees realize their best livesResponsibilities:Handle account transactions for customers, including check cashing, deposits, withdrawals, transfers, loan payments, cashier's checks, and opening and closing accountsIdentify customer needs, provide information on new products and services, and direct customers to branch representatives if interestedReconcile cash drawers at the end of your shift, count and package coins and currency, turn in any excess or damaged currency to head tellerTrack, record, report, and store transactional information and special requestsProvide a high level of customer service, providing answers and assistance with a smileComply and satisfactorily pass tests for bank policy and regulatory compliance that apply to position.Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent; or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Basic math and computer skillsCash-handling experienceExcellent communication, customer service, and time-management skillsAbility to pass a background checkStrong dedication to accuracy and efficiencyAdditional requirements: Certificates and LicensesValid Driver's License Notary Public CommissionThis position is scheduled to work Monday – Saturday, generally with a day off and/or occasional extended hours as needed to accommodate the flow of business.Non-Exempt/Hourly Competencies:Job Knowledge: Understands duties and responsibilities, possesses necessary job knowledge and technical skills, maintains job knowledge current.Productivity: Manages a fair workload, volunteers for additional work, prioritizes tasks, develops good work procedures, manages time well, and handles information flow.Attendance: Employee is expected to adhere to the attendance and break policy and communicate with your supervisor about anticipated time off or modifications to break times.
