This contract position allows you to work directly with students and staff, providing essential care across the academic year from August 3, 2026, to May 26, 2027. Key Qualifications:

• Active Georgia LPN license (required)
• Demonstrated experience in school or pediatric nursing environments
• Strong clinical skills with trach and feeding tube procedures
• Confident assisting with wheelchair transfers and mobility
• Experience providing individualized care in a school setting
• Ability to ride the school bus when needed to ensure student safety
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with students, faculty, and parents

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct nursing care to students, including those with specialized medical needs
• Oversee health care plans and daily treatments for students with feeding tubes, trachs, or mobility devices
• Accompany students with medical needs on school buses, ensuring safe transport
• Monitor student health and provide first aid as needed throughout the school day
• Communicate effectively with staff and parents regarding student health concerns
• Maintain accurate, confidential health records following school protocols
