Are you looking for an exciting seasonal opportunity? Primo Brands is looking for a Seasonal Production Technician to support customer demand. This role is full-time during our "busy season" which will vary year to year. Factory Location: Hot Springs, AR Compensation: $20.00 / hour Shift Differential: Additional 6%-8% of the base hourly rate for eligible hours worked. Schedule: Night shift, 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM, following a 2-2-3 rotating schedule.Responsibilities:Troubleshoot basic water processing functionality: pumps, valves, piping, etc.Troubleshoot water sanitation equipment: CIP system, etc.Support water bottling and packaging processes, primarily QA and food safety testingEnsure all lines and all processes are validated according to compliance standardsComplete basic laboratory testing: pH, turbidity, conductivity, etc.Plating of micro samplesCreate spiked samples to test proficiencyDaily review of quality data from operatorsManage water sensory (taste and odor) evaluationsAdhere to site safety and quality KPIs (Key Performance Indicators)Support site and corporate quality initiativesCommunicate results, deviations, and improvement plans to co-workers and other team membersProvide QA training support for QA operatorsQualifications:College level education desired, relevant pursuit of study in a related area a plusPrior experience performing basic laboratory proceduresExposure to Quality Assurance or Production in a food or beverage processing facility is preferred but not requiredAbility to work self-directed and with a teamSolid communication and interpersonal skills with experience working in a team-based environmentExperience with sanitation and microbiological control systems preferredFamiliarity with food safety and food defense requirements, audit and regulatory environments, microbiological testing, MI and other manufacturing control systemsAbility to interact with various internal contacts to manage the flow of workExposure to fluid processing and the principles of sanitation scienceUnderstanding of good manufacturing practices and HACCP principlesComputer skills with knowledge of Microsoft applications, SAP experience a plusFocus on safe work practices and high quality while executing duties with a sense of urgencyAbility to troubleshoot and make independent decisions related to quality and operation excellenceAbility to move/lift 40 lbs and stand on your feet for long periods of time throughout the dayPrimo Brands' established portfolio includes billion-dollar brands Poland Spring® and Pure Life®, premium brands like Saratoga® and Mountain Valley®, regional leaders such as Arrowhead®, Deer Park®, Ice Mountain® Ozarka®, and Zephyrhills®, purified brands, Primo Water® and Sparkletts®, and flavored and enhanced brands like Splash® and AC+ION®.
