Unit Notes:Department: OR- # Suites: 6 OR's. 2 endoscopy suites.1 c-section. 2 pain clinic.- Average # of cases per day: 15-20 Main OR. 15 Pain Clinic (runs Monday -Thursday).- Required Certifications: BLS, PALS, ACLS- Common Cases: Laparoscopic, cysto, podiatry, ENT, OBGYN, Urology, plastics, pedi dental, GI, ortho, Neuro Spine, robotics.- Experience: Must have 2 years OR experience, must have Ortho & Robotics experience. Scrubbing required - RN's. No but scrub experience is a bonus.- Charge Nurse: CN in OR 6 Am 5 Pm House Super 24/7. OR techs CSTs and RN (some scrub also).- EMR: EPIC- Shifts & Scheduling: 2-10 hour shifts with a 6AM or 7AM start. Requests for time off should be submitted prior to start date, no self-scheduling, no block scheduling.- Weeknight/Call Requirements: Weeknight call will be rare unless filling in for regular call RN.- Weekend/Call Requirements: Typically one weekend day every 4-5 weeks. Call will be 24 hour call rotation from 6AM-6AM on either Saturday or Sunday (will only be assigned 1 day).- Holiday/Call Requirements: Rotated, typically one holiday per contract.- What is call response time: 20 minutes for C-section call, 30 minutes other cases.- Floating Requirements:Would only float to Endo or Pain Clinic.- Scrub Color: Scrubs provided, may wear cloth hats to be hospital laundered, must have OR dedicated shoes.- How many shifts of unit specific orientation: General hospital orientation first 3-4 days (not all full days) and then 1 week in OR.Radius Rule: Cannot live in North Platte, NEDate Entered:11/3/23 Cancellation Policy:None Charting System:EPIC BSN Required:No License to Submit:Yes Trauma Level:3 Care Setting:Acute Division: Shift Notes:12D Required Certifications:ACLS, BLS Certification, PALS
