We are seeking a Budget Analyst / Financial Analyst to support financial planning, budget formulation, and execution for mission-driven programs. This role is responsible for developing and managing budgets, tracking financial performance, and ensuring alignment with organizational priorities and compliance requirements. The ideal candidate has experience working within complex federal budgeting environments and is skilled in translating financial data into actionable insights.Responsibilities:Develop, analyze, and manage program budgets in alignment with organizational goals and mission requirementsPerform budget formulation, execution, and reconciliation activities across multiple funding linesTrack financial performance, expenditures, and obligations to ensure accuracy and compliancePrepare financial reports, briefings, and documentation for leadership and stakeholdersSupport spend plan development and analysis to optimize resource allocationAlign budget activities with federal budget submission cycles and congressional budget justification requirementsConduct variance analysis and provide recommendations to improve financial efficiency and effectivenessCollaborate with program managers, contracting teams, and leadership to support financial decision-makingEnsure adherence to financial policies, regulations, and audit readiness standardsRequirements:Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, Public Administration, or a related fieldTen (10) years of combined experience in:Budget formulationFinancial tracking and executionFinancial reportingSpend plan analysisFive (5) years of experience aligning budgets with federal budget submission processes and congressional budget justification requirements (may be included within the ten years above)US citizenship and an active TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance requiredDesired Experience:Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, Public Administration, or a related disciplineCertified Defense Financial Manager (CDFM) or equivalent certification
