Job duties include performing patient admissions, focused assessments, medication administration, implementation of physician orders, treatment plan updates, and accurate documentation while maintaining safety and adhering to hospital policies. They lead or assist with patient education and activity groups, support therapeutic environment standards, utilize de-escalation techniques, and ensure patient safety through consistent observation and adherence to unit protocols. They provide thorough shift reports, communicate patient changes to the care team, complete required documentation, and ensure continuity of care across disciplines.
