Accountant

Job Summary In this role, a Team Member will be responsible for reviewing the General Ledger (GL) and preparing journal entries. In addition, they will perform monthly reconciliations, analyze variances, and file miscellaneous taxes. Company Core Values Personal. Service. Excellence. Essential Functions Review GL accounts and prepare necessary journal entries. Perform account analysis. Reconcile and balance GL accounts. Research and correct account discrepancies. Post monthly, quarterly, and annual accruals. Prepare summary of findings to be reviewed by senior staff. Assist with year‑end financial audits. Prepare and file Sales/Use, Gross Receipt, and other miscellaneous taxes. Bachelor’s Degree with a major in Accounting or Finance. Minimum of 2 years experience (preferred). Knowledge of accounting software such as Lawson, NetSuite, PeachTree, etc. Participate in special projects and handle all other assigned duties as required. Job Qualifications Ability to remain calm and focused while prioritizing requests from multiple sources. Ability to maintain and ensure confidentiality of team member and company information. Accuracy and attention to detail is paramount. Ability to communicate clearly and precisely when relaying technical accounting and finance information. Knowledge of computer software and applications. Ability to accommodate flexible schedules to meet the needs of the customer, including possible overtime, nights, weekends, and holidays. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, use hands, arms and fingers to handle and lift objects up to 10 pounds. Remote Eligibility Hybrid.
