Position: Forklift Operator
Location: Mascot TN
Pay: $17 per hour
Shifts Available:
- 2nd Shift: 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM
- 3rd Shift: 10:00 PM - 6:30 AM
Job Description: Are you an experienced forklift operator looking for a new opportunity? We are currently seeking skilled Forklift Operators to join our team at our facility in Mascot. As a Forklift Operator, you will play a crucial role in our warehouse operations, safely and efficiently moving materials and products to support our production processes.
Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts to transport materials and products within the warehouse.
- Load and unload trucks, pallets, and other containers using forklift equipment.
- Safely stack and store materials in designated locations.
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on forklifts to ensure proper functioning.
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Assist with inventory management by accurately tracking and recording materials movement.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to coordinate workflow and prioritize tasks.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote a safe and efficient working environment.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience operating a forklift in a warehouse or manufacturing setting.
- Valid forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well with others.
- Flexibility to work 2nd or 3rd shift hours as needed.
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy objects.
