Travel Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical / Telemetry

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | 13-Week Assignment

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a 36-bed Medical Surgical / Telemetry unit
• Perform telemetry monitoring and interpret cardiac rhythms for assigned patients
• Administer and manage non-titratable drips in accordance with unit protocols
• Deliver general medical-surgical nursing care with patient ratios of 1:4 to 1:6
• Document all patient care activities accurately using Meditech EMR
• Float to acute care areas as needed, including general surgery, renal transplant, neurology, and orthopedics

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 1 year of Medical Surgical nursing experience
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Ability to work 4 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule period
• Willingness to wear Royal Blue scrubs per dress code policy

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Strong time management skills in a fast-paced acute care environment
• Prior experience with Meditech EMR
• Experience with telemetry monitoring and non-titratable drip management
