Teacher Development Coach Maths

Permanent full‑time Teacher Development Coach position in the English and Maths Department. 36 hours per week (9 hours remission, 15 hours teaching). Start 17th August 2026. Role Overview This role supports the Head of Maths and English to improve teaching, learning and assessment. Key activities include learning walks, supportive classroom visits, coaching, CPD delivery, quality assurance and curriculum area reviews with a focus on measurable impact. Responsibilities Facilitate learning walks and supportive classroom visits. Coach teachers to enhance professional effectiveness. Deliver CPD sessions on pedagogical theory and best practice. Support quality assurance processes and curriculum area reviews. Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of educational technology and its application. Qualifications Experience teaching English or Maths and motivating FE students. Relevant degree; higher degree desirable. Relevant teaching qualification or equivalent. GCSE Maths and English (A*–C).
