Maintenance Director

We are looking for a strong technical leader to oversee maintenance, automation, utilities, engineering, and continuous improvement operations at a large high-speed food manufacturing facility. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building teams, improving plant performance, reducing downtime, and driving operational excellence.What You’ll Be Responsible ForLeading plant maintenance, automation, utilities, wastewater, and engineering teamsDriving TPM and Lean Manufacturing initiativesImproving equipment reliability and plant efficiencyManaging MRO inventory, budgets, and spare parts programsSupporting capital projects and continuous improvement effortsPartnering closely with Operations, Quality, Engineering, Procurement, and Supply Chain teamsDeveloping engineers, technicians, and maintenance leadersEnsuring compliance with food safety, GMP, environmental, and safety standardsReducing downtime and improving overall plant performanceWhat We’re Looking For8+ years of manufacturing maintenance experience3+ years leading maintenance, technical services, automation, or utilities teamsFood, dairy, beverage, or FMCG manufacturing experience strongly preferredStrong PLC and high-speed manufacturing equipment knowledgeExperience with automation, troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and reliability programsLean Manufacturing / Six Sigma experience preferredExperience managing maintenance budgets and plant improvement projectsStrong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skillsPreferred BackgroundEngineering, Industrial Engineering, Food Science, Business, or related degree preferredHACCP and food safety knowledgeERP / MRP systems experienceCompensation & BenefitsCompetitive base salary + bonus + equity opportunityComprehensive medical, dental, and vision benefits401(k) with company matchTuition reimbursementWellness programs and employee assistance resourcesPTO, paid holidays, and parental leave programsApply today if you’re interested in leading technical operations within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. #J-18808-Ljbffr Torrey Holistics
