Pharmacy Insurance Specialist

We're excited to grow our team by hiring a Pharmacy Insurance Specialist to assist our customers in getting resolutions for all their insurance needs including Medicaid programs, Medicare Parts B and D, manufacturer assistance programs and more. Please note: This role is based in our Grapevine, TX office Liberty Software does not offer employment sponsorship opportunities for this role (e.g., H-1B, OPT, or other work visa status) What You’ll Do: Operate as the first point of contact for incoming calls and tickets from pharmacy clients to provide prompt insurance resolutions Document each phone call and the actions performed in tracking software Communicate directly with insurance providers and switch companies on the pharmacy’s behalf Complete insurance requests and escalated insurance reviews in a timely manner Update and maintain Liberty Software’s master National Council for Prescription Drug Programs (NCPDP) format database Provide unmatched customer service in every client interaction Qualifications: At least two years of pharmacy/pharmacy technician experience required, with three to five years being preferred Extensive experience in insurance adjudication Familiarity with independently owned pharmacies a plus Demonstrated ability to communicate by phone and email to members of client organizations and third-party companies such as insurance providers and pharmacy switches Proven ability to shift between multiple tasks as needed Strong attention to detail, as well as strong written and documentation skills Excellent listening and critical thinking skills Experience using Liberty Software products (RXQ, BZQ) a plus Basic computer skills and comfort learning new software products needed Benefits Starting Day One: 100% employer-paid medical and life insurance for employees, with optional dental and vision coverage at no cost Family coverage available with Liberty contributing 50% of the premium Fully vested 401(k) with employer match Employer contributions to Health Savings Accounts (HSA ) Generous paid time off and paid holidays Tuition reimbursement and continuing education support Dependent Care Flexible Spending Account (FSA) for tax savings on childcare Confidential counseling resources for mental health, financial planning, and more, via Optum EAP Fully stocked breakroom #J-18808-Ljbffr Liberty Software
