Salary: $19.00- $22.00

Overview: We are seeking a Bilingual skilled and compassionate Medical Assistant with pain management procedure experience to join our team. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing quality patient care and assisting healthcare professionals in a hospital setting. 2 days at our Stone Mountain location, 2 Days at our Midtown location and 1 day at our Duluth location.

Responsibilities:

- Perform basic clinical tasks, including taking vital signs, collecting patient history, and preparing patients for examinations

- Assist healthcare professionals with various procedures and treatments

- Administer medications as directed by healthcare providers

- Conduct basic laboratory tests and perform phlebotomy when necessary

- Prepare and maintain examination rooms, ensuring cleanliness and organization

- Document patient information accurately in electronic medical records

- Provide exceptional patient service by addressing inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally

- Maintain inventory of medical supplies and equipment, ensuring availability for patient care

- Adhere to all safety protocols and infection control measures

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent required; completion of a Medical Assistant program preferred

- Certification as a Medical Assistant is a plus

- Previous experience working in a hospital or medical office setting is highly desirable

- Proficient in medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and coding

- Strong knowledge of medication administration procedures

- Ability to perform X-rays is an advantage
