Overview CT Technologist travel assignment in Templeton, California. Start date: 08/17/2026 for 8 weeks. Weekly pay range: $2,991–$3,281. Shift: Days, four 10-hour shifts (40 hours per week). Employment type: Travel – Temporary Assignment. Setting: care facility. This assignment uses Epic for radiology workflow and involves SEIU staffing context. Responsibilities Perform CT imaging procedures per physician orders, including patient positioning and protocol selection to ensure diagnostic quality. Operate CT scanner, adjust scanning parameters, monitor patient safety, and manage contrast administration per policy. Verify orders, prepare patients, and document imaging procedures in the electronic medical record (Epic). Ensure image quality and proper technical factors; collaborate with radiology team to optimize protocols. Maintain radiation safety, infection control, and patient care standards throughout the exam. Communicate findings and any concerns to the radiology team and referring clinicians as required. Requirements Active radiologic technologist license or eligibility per state regulations (California). CT certification (ARRT) preferred; facility policy may require credentialing as part of onboarding. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. 1+ year CT imaging experience preferred. Ability to work days shift and adapt to a travel assignment; strong communication and teamwork skills. Demonstrated ability to operate in an Epic-based radiology workflow.
