Physical Therapy Aide

About the Role:

Join our dynamic team at Rebound Rehabilitation as a Physical Therapy Aide. This role is perfect for individuals passionate about helping others recover and improve their physical health in a supportive environment.

Responsibilities:

Assist physical therapists in implementing treatment plans for patients.

Prepare and maintain treatment areas and equipment to ensure a clean and safe environment.

Help patients with exercises and mobility tasks under the supervision of licensed therapists.

Document patient progress and report any changes to the therapy team.

Provide excellent customer service and support to patients and their families.

Maintain inventory of therapy supplies and assist in ordering as needed.

Participate in team meetings and training sessions to enhance skills.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent; experience in healthcare preferred.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to lift and move patients safely and comfortably.

Basic knowledge of physical therapy practices is a plus.

Must be a team player with a positive attitude.

Flexible schedule to accommodate patient needs.

CPR certification is preferred but not required.

Associate degree or coursework in kinesiology, exercise science, or a related field is a plus.

Hours: Part time hours between 7 am - 6 pm during Monday-Friday.
