With a strong track record of strategic growth and acquisitions, Komline continues to expand its solution portfolio and technical capabilities while maintaining our commitment to innovation and customer satisfaction.About This OpportunityThe CAD Technician II is an experienced drafting and design professional responsible for preparing, modifying, and maintaining detailed product drawings, 3D models, and engineering documentation for customer and manufacturing projects. Working closely with Sales, Production, Quality Control, and other cross-functional stakeholders, this role supports quotation development, technical specifications, and project execution while ensuring designs meet customer requirements, quality standards, and manufacturing needs.ResponsibilitiesCreate 3D models from physical samples and/or 2D drawingsComplete sizing calculations and prepare drawings for specifications and quotationsPrepare product assembly and shop drawings for customer projects, sales support, and manufacturing operationsMaintain accurate drawing files and documentation for quoting, fabrication, and quality control activitiesReview project requirements and develop drawings that meet customer specifications and business standardsUpdate and maintain digital databases, engineering documentation, and drawing recordsAdhere to internal and external customer timelines and expectationsCollaborate with Quality Control to understand process control, inspection, and testing requirementsWork effectively with Sales, Production, Quality Control, and other cross-functional teams to support project executionManage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining a high level of quality and accuracyPerform other duties as assignedQualifications2-5 years of professional CAD design, drafting, or modeling experienceProficiency with Autodesk Inventor and AutoCADAbility to read and interpret sketchesAbility to review and understand contract drawings and specificationsAbility to read and interpret construction and engineering drawingsProficiency in Microsoft Office applicationsBasic mathematical skillsStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsStrong verbal and written communication skillsAbility to manage multiple projects and priorities with minimal supervisionSelf-starter with the ability to complete projects on scheduleAbility to work effectively in a cross-functional team environmentPreferredAssociate degree, technical certification, or coursework in Drafting, Engineering Technology, CAD Design, or a related fieldExperience creating product assembly, fabrication, and shop drawings within a manufacturing environmentExperience supporting engineered-to-order equipment, industrial products, or water and wastewater industry projects, including quotation and specification developmentKomline is an Equal Opportunity Employer (EOE) – M/F/Vets/Disabled
