What You'll Do
- Provide specialized cardiovascular (CVOR) nursing care, including open-heart procedures
- Support general OR needs as necessary, demonstrating versatility
- Administer medications and treatments following protocols, monitor side effects and effectiveness
- Document patient history, symptoms, medication, and care given accurately
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to deliver holistic patient care
- Educate patients and families on post-operative care and treatment plans
- Demonstrate independence and clinical competence, adhering to nursing standards and best practices
What You Need
- RN license in Texas or a compact state
- BLS certification (AHA)
- Minimum of 2 years of CVOR and EPIC charting experience
- Experience in cardiovascular (open-heart) surgery preferred
- Ability to support general OR procedures as needed
