Server Assistant

About the Role: Join the Urban Restaurant Group as a Server Assistant and play a vital role in delivering exceptional dining experiences in the heart of Eugene, OR. Responsibilities: Greet and seat guests according to a seating rotation Manage reservations and walk-in guests via Open Table software Assist servers in delivering food and beverages to guests promptly and accurately. Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas, including tables and service stations. Help set up and break down dining room and event spaces for service. Refill drinks and respond to guest needs throughout their dining experience. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient service. Support the team during busy service periods, ensuring a smooth workflow. Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies as needed. Provide a friendly and welcoming atmosphere for all guests. Requirements: Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting preferred. Strong communication skills and a positive attitude. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively. Must be at least 18 years of age. Basic knowledge of food and beverage service standards. Team-oriented with a willingness to learn and grow. Flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Current food handler's card or ability to obtain one.
