\nEvaluates and treats patients of all ages, modifying plan of care as appropriate. Serves as a role model in delivery of professional services and as a clinical resource for staff and students.\n

\nBoard Eligible/Required to successfully complete board exam on the next available exam date. Attend and satisfactorily complete all required continuing education regarding the care of acute stroke patients.\n

\nResponsibilities\n
\n
\nE ssential Functions \n
\n
\nEducates patients, family, caregivers, students, and other health care providers using relevant and effective teaching methods.\n
\n
\nFollows the therapist's plan of care. Adjusts the treatment based on patient response and available evidence only after communicating with the evaluating therapist and documenting that communication in the daily note.\n
\n
\nProduces documentation in accordance with the Clinical Documentation Policy (CTSCP67). (23)\n
\n
\nIf applicable, completes annual education as assigned to comply with DNV Hip and Knee Replacement Program requirements.\n

\nFollows treatment plan of care established by PT\n
\n
\nProvides treatment interventions including therapeutic exercise, gait and balance training, ultrasound\n
\n
\nAdministers electrical stimulation treatment\n
\n
\nProvides therapeutic exercise in the water (aquatic therapy)\n
\n
\nCompletes daily documentation and charging in therapy EMR\n
\n
\nCoordinates with PT on patient treatment interventions\n
\n
\nCommunicates with referring provider on patient progress and treatment recommendations\n
\n

\nCompensation and Benefits\n
\n
\nThe compensation range for this position is $40.84per hour - $70.24per hour. This represents a good faith minimum and maximum range for the role at the time of posting by Carle Health. The actual compensation offered a candidate will be dependent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s experience, qualifications, location, training, licenses, shifts worked and compensation model.
