The Company is in search of a Head of Capital Formation to spearhead its fundraising and investor relations activities. The successful candidate will be tasked with developing and implementing comprehensive capital raising strategies, with a primary focus on engaging wealth channel investors, family offices, registered investment advisors, private banks, and ultra-high-net-worth individuals. This pivotal role requires a proven track record in fundraising, deep relationships within the private wealth sector, and experience in capital raising for private market investment strategies. The Head of Capital Formation will lead the entire fundraising process, from sourcing and engaging investors to conducting due diligence and closing deals. Additionally, the role involves close collaboration with the investment team to effectively communicate the firm's investment strategy, portfolio performance, and value creation initiatives. Applicants for the Head of Capital Formation position at the company should hold a Bachelor's degree, with advanced credentials such as an MBA or CFA being preferred. A minimum of 10 years' experience in capital formation, fundraising, investor relations, institutional sales, or business development within private equity or alternative investments is required. The ideal candidate will have a strong network across various institutional allocators and a deep understanding of private market investment strategies and fund structures. Exceptional communication, presentation, and relationship management skills are essential, as is the ability to operate both strategically and tactically in a dynamic environment. Experience in managing fundraising teams and cross-functional initiatives is highly valued.
