MRI Technologist

This position involves working three 12-hour shifts from Monday to Friday, with hours from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM.

Job Description

The MRI Technologist will be responsible for conducting a variety of MRI scans using a Siemens Espree 1.5T MRI large bore system and utilizing a BRACCO power injector for contrast administration. This role requires a high level of professionalism, technical expertise, and patient care skills in various imaging studies.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI scans on patients of all age groups, ensuring comfort and safety.
• Administer contrast media and prepare patients for MRI procedures.
• Utilize advanced imaging techniques such as MRA, MRV, and MRCP across various anatomical regions.
• Ensure the accuracy of imaging results and maintain high standards of patient care.
• Utilize effective communication with patients and the healthcare team.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• A minimum of two years of relevant MRI experience is required.
• Current licensure as an MRI Technologist in the state of New York.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
• Experience with Epic charting system is mandatory.
