Patient Care Technician (PCT) / CNA - Hospital Patient Care

In this role, you will work under the direction and supervision of licensed nursing personnel to assist with essential patient care responsibilities . Care is delivered in accordance with the standards and philosophy of the Nursing Services Department , as well as all hospital policies and regulatory guidelines

This position is ideal for individuals pursuing careers in nursing, healthcare, patient care, or clinical support roles

What You'll Do

As a Hospital Patient Care Technician , you will assist the clinical care team with important direct patient care duties , including:

• Supporting nurses with basic patient care needs and comfort measures
• Taking and documenting vital signs accurately
• Assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs) as directed by nursing staff
• Monitoring patients and communicating observations to Registered Nurses
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized patient care environment
• Providing compassionate customer service to patients and families
• Documenting patient information using electronic medical record systems

Your role helps ensure patients receive attentive, safe, and supportive care.

Minimum Qualifications Education

High School Diploma or GED required
• Completion of a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Training Program strongly preferred

Experience

Minimum one year of acute care experience or medical surgical clinical experience preferred

Licensure & Certification

BLS Certification - Healthcare Provider required
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification strongly preferred
