Registered Nurse (RN) Acute Rehabilitation

In this role, you will provide specialized nursing care focused on recovery and improving quality of life for patients undergoing rehabilitation therapies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess patients' physical and emotional needs upon admission and develop individualized care plans tailored to their rehabilitation goals.
• Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and manage wound care as prescribed by physicians or therapists.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including physical therapists, occupational therapists, and social workers to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Educate patients and families on rehabilitation techniques, exercises, and post-discharge care plans to maintain progress at home.
• Document patient progress accurately and adjust care plans as needed based on clinical outcomes or therapy advancements.

Work Environment:

• The role is based in hospitals or rehabilitation facilities where RNs work closely with patients recovering from surgeries, strokes, or chronic conditions requiring intensive therapy support.
• This position demands patience, compassion, and physical stamina as it involves assisting patients through challenging recovery processes daily.
