Physical Therapist Floater - PT Full Time

The Physical Therapist Floater will provide high-quality, patient-centered care by performing physical therapy evaluations, developing treatment plans, and implementing appropriate therapy interventions across multiple locations in Gainesville, Ocala, and Williston , Florida.

This is a salaried position that requires flexibility, the ability to adapt to various environments, and a commitment to delivering consistent care in different clinical settings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop individualized treatment plans based on the patient’s needs, goals, and physician recommendations.
• Implement therapeutic exercises, modalities, and manual therapy techniques to help patients recover and regain function.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
• Collaborate with other healthcare providers (e.g., physicians, occupational therapists, speech therapists) to ensure comprehensive care.
• Educate patients and their families on the importance of home exercise programs and injury prevention techniques.
• Document patient evaluations, treatments, and progress in accordance with company and regulatory standards.
• Travel between locations in Gainesville, Ocala, and Williston, Florida , to provide care as needed, ensuring a seamless experience for patients.
• Maintain flexibility to work in various environments, adjusting to the specific needs and requirements of each location.
• Assist in covering staffing shortages and ensuring continuity of care across multiple clinics or departments.

Qualifications:

• Licensing/Certification : Active state licensure as a Physical Therapist in Florida.

Experience : Previous experience as a physical therapist in a clinical or hospital setting preferred. Experience in various therapy settings (e.g., inpatient, outpatient, home health) is a plus.

Skills :

· Strong clinical assessment and treatment planning abilities.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare teams.

· Ability to adapt to different patient populations and diverse clinical settings.

· Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage a varied caseload.
