What You'll Do As a Preschool Classroom Aide Substitute , you'll help create a safe, supportive, and engaging classroom where children can learn, grow, and build the skills they need for kindergarten success. In this role, you will: Support children's social, emotional, cognitive, language, and physical development. Help create a positive, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment. Assist with classroom activities, behavior support, and daily operations. Partner with families through communication, conferences, and home visits. Promote children's health, safety, and overall well-being. Collaborate with teachers and staff to support school readiness goals. Participate in ongoing training and professional development. Every day, you'll have the opportunity to make a lasting impact on the lives of children and families in your community. Requirements This role is active and hands-on, supporting young children throughout the day. Team members should be comfortable standing, sitting, walking, bending, kneeling, reaching, and using their hands for a variety of classroom activities. The position may occasionally require driving, working flexible hours, and lifting up to 50 pounds. High school diploma or GED preferred. Experience caring for or working with young children preferred. Most importantly, you're passionate about helping young children learn, grow, and succeed.
