Shift Availability:

• 1st Shift 6am-230
• 2nd Shift 3:55 Start

Pay Rate:

• $20.00/hour for Day Shift
• $20.00/hour + $1.00 Shift Premium for Night Shift

Primary Purpose & Function

Cardinal Staffing is seeking experienced Machine Operators and Line Leads to join our Packaging Department. This position is responsible for supporting daily production operations, ensuring quality standards are met, and assisting production teams in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment. Candidates must have previous machine operation and/or production line leadership experience and be comfortable working in cold and wet conditions.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities

• Operate packaging and production machinery safely and efficiently
• Lead and support production team members to achieve daily production goals
• Complete daily paperwork and tablet-based production reporting accurately
• Monitor product quality and ensure food safety standards are maintained
• Assist with troubleshooting minor machine and production issues
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment
• Follow all company safety procedures and GMP/food safety guidelines
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members throughout the shift
• Support production flow and packaging operations as needed

Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of machine operation and/or production line leadership experience required
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to accurately complete digital and written production documentation
• Comfortable using tablets, digital forms, and production systems
• Strong communication and leadership abilities
• Ability to work in a cold, wet manufacturing environment for extended periods
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus, but not required
• Ability to stand for up to 10-hour shifts

• Reliable transportation required
• Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check
• Must follow all food safety and company procedures at all times
