Behavior Specialist

Job DescriptionWe are seeking multiple School Behavioral Paraprofessionals across K - 12th. These are full-time, on-site positions that run through the end of the school year, supporting students and instructional staff to help maintain a positive, structured, and supportive learning environment.\n\nWhat we Offer:\n\n Monday through Friday; 35 hours per week with a 30-minute unpaid lunch\n Full benefits: Health, Vision, Dental, 401K plans\n Starting pay is $25/hr. + (depends on experience and certifications)\n\n\nJob Responsibilities:\n\n Provide individual and/or classroom-based support to students as directed by the teacher and school team\n Assist students with academic activities, classroom routines, and daily tasks\n Support implementation of instructional and behavioral strategies\n Help students remain engaged and successful within the classroom environment\n Reinforce appropriate behavior and positive social interactions\n Assist teachers and other school professionals with classroom organization and student supervision\n Maintain student confidentiality and follow all school and district policies and procedures\n Collaborate effectively with teachers, special education staff, administrators, and other members of the school team\n\n\nRequired Qualifications:\n\n Active Delaware Paraeducator Permit or willing to obtain one\n Comfortable working with students with a variety of academic, behavioral, and developmental needs\n Flexible and willing to support students across different classroom environments and assignments based on school needs\n Patient, dependable, and able to maintain a positive and professional approach with students\n Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, special education staff, and other members of the school team\n\n
