Project Accountant II

Summary

Willdan is seeking a Project Accountant II to join our team, reporting to the Division Controller of a growing, publicly traded company. This role will manage financial data sets tied to invoices, work orders, and project statuses, including capital projects for Fortune 500 clients. This position is an in-office role based in Alpharetta, GA.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Track, manage, and reconcile financial data, including invoices, work orders, and project statuses.
• Oversee accounts receivable and accounts payable activities.
• Participate in financial reporting and month-end close processes.
• Manage capital projects for large corporate clients.

Job Requirements / Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.
• 2-3+ years of accounting experience.
• Direct experience with accounts receivable and accounts payable.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Accounting.
• Familiarity with Smartsheet or similar data management tools.
• Experience with Costpoint (Deltek) or other GL software.
