As a Security Officer Unarmed Driving Role in Syracuse, NY , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as a driving patrol officer at a busy healthcare location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, support a welcoming environment, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism. You will remain visible to help deter incidents, deliver strong customer service, and communicate clearly with staff, patients, and visitors. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate for a healthcare setting.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with supervisors and/or site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor direction, badge verification, and/or entry procedures in accordance with location protocols.
• Support daily operations by reporting maintenance concerns, security-related hazards, and/or policy violations while maintaining a professional presence throughout the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• A valid New York State Security Guard License is required.
• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
