What you’ll do You’ll join the AI team, designing the agentic experiences at the heart of Brex’s intelligent finance platform. We’re building AI that doesn’t just answer questions, but does real financial work on our customers’ behalf. You will work with Product and Engineering teams to successfully communicate, evolve, and execute a strong product design standard that showcases Brex as a leader in financial innovation. You are a crucial component of our company’s growth and product launches through your contributions to short and long‑term strategic direction, creating and maintaining high visual standards and a strong focus on user needs. You have an owner’s mentality, taking pride in your work and in your team’s work, and view what you do as a part‑owner and builder of Brex. Where you’ll work This role will be based in our San Francisco or New York office. We are a hybrid environment that combines the energy and connections of being in the office with the benefits and flexibility of working from home. We currently require a minimum of two coordinated days in the office per week, Wednesday and Thursday. Starting February 2, 2026, we will require three days per week in office - Monday, Wednesday and Thursday. As a perk, we also have up to four weeks per year of fully remote work! How you work with AI We’re looking for designers who operate agentically. That means: You treat AI as a collaborator. You delegate real work to agents and can show how they’ve changed the way you design. You prototype in code with AI assistance (Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, v0, or similar) and ship working demos. You stay close to the models. You use frontier models daily, build intuition for what they can and can’t do, and design for where capabilities are heading.
