North Dakota Eligibility Worker

Providing essential support to clients, the full-time remote North Dakota Eligibility Worker will serve as the first point of contact for citizens, addressing inquiries and determining eligibility for various Economic Assistance programs while maintaining a dedicated home office. Key responsibilities: Deliver exceptional customer service and support regarding Economic Assistance programs to clients and community partners Assess client needs and provide information and referrals to appropriate agency or community resources Interpret and apply state and federal program policies while maintaining knowledge of relevant laws and regulations Required qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent Completion of the eligibility worker one-year certificate program, or 90 semester hours/135 quarter hours of a bachelor's degree program Three years of relevant work experience in claims processing, financial eligibility benefits, or related fields Experience determining eligibility for human service economic assistance programs is preferred Must reside within or be willing to relocate to the Dakota Central Human Service Zone service area
