Role Description The 3D Designer role at Indy Grills is a full-time, on-site position based in Indianapolis, IN. In this role, the 3D Designer will create detailed 3D models and visualizations of indoor and outdoor living spaces, including fireplaces, outdoor kitchens, patios, and furniture layouts. Day-to-day tasks include developing concepts from client briefs, collaborating with sales and project teams, refining designs based on feedback, and preparing presentation-ready renders for clients and internal stakeholders. The 3D Designer will also optimize lighting, materials, and textures for realistic renderings, support graphic design needs for proposals or marketing materials, and assist in producing basic animations or walkthroughs to showcase designs. Qualifications Candidates should possess strong 3D Design and 3D Modeling skills for architectural and product visualizations. Candidates should possess Lighting skills for realistic rendering and scene composition. Candidates should possess Graphic Design skills for visual presentations, layouts, and client-facing materials. Candidates should possess Animation skills for simple walkthroughs, flythroughs, or motion-based design demonstrations. Proficiency in industry-standard 3D and rendering software (e.g., SketchUp, 3ds Max, Blender, Revit, or similar) is beneficial. Experience in architectural visualization, interior/exterior design, or related fields is preferred. Strong attention to detail, spatial awareness, and the ability to interpret construction plans and measurements are important. Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate on-site with cross-functional teams and clients are required.
