Quick Facts Location: Portsmouth, VA, United States Start Date: 10/05/2026 End Date: 09/30/2030 Shift: Mon-Sun, various shifts (0700 - 1900, 0700 - 1600, 0700 - 1530, etc.) Hours/Week: Flexible based on clinic needs Employment Type: Full-time Licenses/Certs: MD/DO, U.S. license, DEA, BLS, Board Certified Family Practice Experience: Minimum 1 year recent family practice experience Pay & Benefits Hourly Rate: $135.00 (weekly pay via direct deposit) Benefits: Competitive pay packages, weekly pay schedule, robust referral bonus program, licensure, certification, travel, and other reimbursements when applicable, 24/7 dedicated support team What You’ll Do Provide comprehensive family medical care, including diagnosis, treatment, and preventive services Perform routine and urgent healthcare assessments Document patient interactions accurately and efficiently Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to deliver quality care Participate in continuous professional development and team meetings Support patient education and promote wellness strategies Assist in training or supervising medical staff and students as needed What You Need Required: MD/DO from an accredited medical school Active, unrestricted medical license in Virginia Board certification in Family Practice DEA certification BLS certification Valid U.S. citizenship At least 1 year of recent family practice experience Strong communication and teamwork skills Preferred: Experience in military or federal healthcare settings Additional certifications in emergency medicine or related specialties Bilingual skills or additional language proficiency Prior experience serving military or veteran populations About the Assignment This position involves providing outpatient primary healthcare services at multiple clinics within a renowned facility in Portsmouth, Virginia.
