Details Work in a hospital Emergency Department setting 12-hour night shift schedule (19:00-07:30) Provides direct patient care using the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation Cares for patients requiring telemetry monitoring within the ED Requirements Active IL RN license currently in hand Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS and/or ENPC Basic Arrhythmia Interpretation competency required Minimum of one year experience as a staff nurse RN in an acute care hospital setting ER setting experience preferred Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN) preferred BSN preferred DOB and SSN required for consideration Additional Information Directs and guides patient and family teaching along with activities of other nursing personnel while maintaining professional nursing standards Communicates with physicians regarding changes in patient clinical condition, including diagnostic study results Responds quickly and accurately to changes in patient condition or treatment response Knowledgeable of EMTALA regulations and reporting of child/adult abuse to appropriate agencies and hospital social worker Maintains patient privacy and confidentiality at all times Accepts local candidates American Traveler Job ID P-741348.
