Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced L&D RN with strong labor and newborn stabilization skills for a primarily night shift travel contract in California.

Details

• Labor & Delivery (L&D) unit in a hospital setting
• Primarily night shifts (1800–0630), with occasional day shift coverage as needed
• 36 or 48 hours per week available
• Strong labor experience required, with comfort in postpartum care

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required
• Active BLS and ACLS certifications (American Heart Association) required
• STABLE certification strongly recommended; experience with newborn stabilization skills required
• Fetal Heart Monitoring certification strongly preferred
• Minimum 3–4 years of L&D experience required
• Clean, unrestricted nursing license with no prior disciplinary history
• 2 supervisory references required: one from within the past year and one from within the past two years
• DOB, Middle Name, and SSN required for consideration

Additional Information

• Candidates must have worked in the L&D specialty within the last 3 months to be eligible
• RTO is limited to a maximum of 5 days for this assignment
