Description du poste For one of our clients located in Luxembourg Kirchberg, Sofitex Talent is currently looking for a Senior Risk Analyst (M/F) Responsibilities Independently execute and oversee risk management activities, ensuring accurate performance of risk assessments, controls, and documentation in line with the Risk Management Framework Take ownership of specific risk processes or frameworks (e.g., RCSA, KRI monitoring, incident tracking), ensuring their effective execution and continuous improvement Identify, assess, and analyze risks across business activities, including operational, ICT, and emerging risks, and propose mitigation measures Perform detailed analysis of risk indicators, trends, and events, identifying root causes and supporting forward-looking risk assessment Review and challenge risk data and control assessments, ensuring consistency, completeness, and alignment with internal methodologies Provide day-to-day advisory to internal stakeholders on risk-related matters, including interpretation of risk policies and methodologies Review and validate work performed by Risk Analysts, ensuring quality, accuracy, and adherence to defined standards Contribute to the development and enhancement of risk policies, procedures, and methodologies, including improvements to tools and reporting Support the preparation of risk reports and dashboards, including analysis, interpretation of results, and contribution to management insights Support ESG-related risk activities, including identification, assessment, and monitoring of sustainability-related risk exposures within the risk framework Profil recherché Relevant experience in Risk Management (typically 3-5 years) within the financial sector, with solid exposure to operational risk, ICT risk, or internal control frameworks Good understanding of risk management methodologies (e.g., RCSA, KRIs, incident management), with the ability to apply them independently Fluency in English. Fluency in Portuguese is an asset Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and propose practical solutions Ability to work autonomously while exercising sound judgment, including appropriate escalation of significant risks or issues Effective communication and stakeholder management skills, enabling clear articulation of risk topics and advisory to business units Additional Information This is a great opportunity to start asap on a permanent contract basis for an international financial institution.
